Q: What are the benefits of paintless dent repair?
PDR is the highest quality way to repair your vehicle. We don’t use body filler, primer, bondo or anything else. Your vehicle will look great when we are done, and it will keep looking great. Cost and price are other important benefits. Body shops could charge $350 – $500 to fix a minor dent, while using PDR to take care of the same dent might only cost $75 – $150. It will take less time, often under an hour, whereas a body shop would take 3 – 5 days.
Q: Will my dents be completely gone?
Usually we can completely remove minor dents, though that might not be the case with deeper dents. We will tell you what the results are likely to be so that you can make an informed decision.
Q: Can Auto Piccasso fix any dent?
Unfortunately, no. While we can fix about 95% of minor dents using PDR, there are about 5% we can’t fix. Here are some of the indications that we won’t be able to fix a dent:
Depth – the deeper and more twisted the dent, the harder it will be to fix. We can fix a dinner plate sized dent if it’s shallow but we might not be able to fix a very deep dime sized dent.
Cracked paint – If the paint is cracked that is a sign that the dent is too deep for us to repair.
Q: What do you mean by “no drilling”?
Too many local PDR companies drill holes into vehicles in order to gain access to the dented area and often don’t even tell the owner that they’re doing this. We do our best to repair every dent without drilling. If it is necessary to drill a small hole we will tell you ahead of time and let you decide.
